When I look at the goldpharma site, I cannot find the med you mention.  Please give me more info or a link to the med.

Looking at your new test results, I am suspicious of the Free T3 result, since you did nothing I know of that would account for a 50% increase in the level.  So I would continue with the plan to start on the T4 med and see how that affects your Free T4 and Free T3 levels.  Also it is important to test and supplement as needed to get your Vitamin D up to about 55-60, B12 in the upper end of its range, and ferritin to about 70 minimum.

Also, since you have osteoporosis, you need to make sure you are getting adequate daily doses of calcium, D3, Vitamin K2, boron, potassium citrate, and DHEA.  By taking those it will allow for bone formation.  Then as you get your thyroid levels corrected, the increase in metabolism will further help by speeding up the bone building process.

my new test results come today
Free T3: 3.6 pg/ml (2 - 4.4)
Anti Thyroglobulin Abs 24.7  u/ml (up to 60)
Anti Thyroid Peroxidase Abs <28.0  (u/ml up to 60)

so after increasing vitamin D my Thyroid return to working fine

I meant to say that your Free T4 and free T3 levels were way short of being adequate for most people.

So you do need to take thyroid med as needed to get your Free T4 up to the middle of its range, and your Free T3 into the upper third of its range, as needed to relieve symptoms.  You can start with either of the T4 meds.  A good starting dose is 50 mcg, with increases from there about every 6 weeks to achieve desired levels.  If you find that your Free T3 level lags behind the increase in Free T4 level, then you may have to also add a source of T3 to your med.  What T3 med are you talking about from goldpharma.com?

Vitamin D is also very important, so supplement as needed to get up to about 55-60.  Also B12 should be tested and supplemented as needed to reach the upper end of the range.   Ferritin is also very important for you and you should test for that and supplement as needed to reach 70 minimum.

n the words of a good thyroid doctor, ""The free T3 is not as helpful in untreated persons as the free T4 because in the light of a rather low FT4 the body will convert more T4 to T3 to maintain thyroid effect as well as is possible. So the person with a rather low FT4 and high-in-range FT3 may still be hypothyroid. However, if the FT4 is below 1.3 and the FT3 is also rather low, say below 3.4 (range 2 to 4.4 at LabCorp) then its likely that hypothyroidism is the cause of a person's symptoms."

As you can see your FT4 and FT3 levels are way of those levels, thus causing hypo symptoms.  What is your Vitamin D level?

- Free T3: 2.2 pg/ml (2.0 - 4.2)
- Free T4: 1.0 ng/dl ( 0.7 - 1.5)

Should i take T4 like Euthyrox or take T3 like Thybon ?
