Are you taking medicine for hypo? After beginning meds, my sleep quality improved. I have chronic insomnia, but when I do sleep it is much better. May is a way off. If you're not currently on meds, might ask the doc who dx'd you about starting. Good luck.
You could ask your doctor if it's okay to take some magnesium. It has a calming effect, and if taken before bedtime, can help you sleep better. Avoid mag oxide...it's nothing but a laxative. You want either mad citrate or mag glycinate.
Unfortunately, I've had to switch doc's before I even got a diagnosis. I discovered that my PCP is a flake and a liar. So I made an appointment with an endo but I can't go until May.
