Hashimoto's *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told by my doctor I had Hashimoto..I didn't even know what the hell that was. They never wanted to explain anything to be. He stupid *** always Just said take your medicine and you should be fine. As Time went on I got worst. I have muscles aches out this world...I'm tired and sluggish feeling..I have headaces due to this..all kinds of stuff has been going on. And..I went back to him and I explain to him what was going on and he never did anything. I had went to another doctor..she couldn't help me as well. Basically..I was dealing with this on my own. I Just wanted answer..Half these damn doctors don't need to have Jobs..There Just so damn but they went to school for it. I learn that they don't care if it's not them. I was depress because I couldn't do anything but Just lay there and cry because it was kicking my butt. I could even walk in the store without feeling like I'm about to pass out. And..The crazy thing about the whole thing about it..I went to a surgeon and he read my paper word and I didn't have to say anything and he was explaining to me what Hashimoto is and I'm like well damn..The ones that specialize in this couldn't tell me anything. He told me I was to young to be f\going through this...I'm only 25. My neck is really tight..My thyriod swells up to where I can't breath and then the inflammation is out of this world. Basically..It's like damned if you do and damned if you don't. I'm having my thyroid removed in 2 weeks and you know I'm not putting my trust in God..He can bring me through anything. So..There nothing to big for him that he can't solve. But..I'm looking at things for the better..Through christ all things are possible..=)

I was diagnosed with hashimotos disease too. Although they did want to operate since there is no visible goiter. If you don't have goiter I don't see why they need to operate. I would get a second opinion.

I am curious as to why they felt that you thyroid gland had to be removed at this point.  Have you been given any thyroid medication?  Have you been tested beyond TSH?  If so, please post results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.
