Mine are 1238 and I doubt it means much other than I have autoimmune thyroiditis..and that's only due to the other test results, it confirms the TSH ulstrasound etc .
There may be something about antibody level and utilization of iodide in some way... I can't recall.
Makes no difference to treatment because they can't treat the antibodies.
Take your levothyroxine med (if you become hypo) it will lower them a bit, and Dr. Lupo here says 200mcg of Selenium a day may reduce them 10-15 % for some.

My thyroid is enlarged, has been for several years. I did have to have a biopsy about 7 years ago, and I swore if they ever mentioned on of those again that I would turn and run! It was the worst thing ever. I can't believe they make people go through that without any anesthetic or sedation.
So how high was yours? I've read some other posts where there's was in the hundreds, but mine is in the 4,000s. I had an appointment with a rheumatologist last week...he had the lab results and all he said was that I was bordering on hypothyroid, but never said much about this level being so high.
I had a high thyroid peroxidase AB, they told me it ment I had autoimmune thyroiditis, its when the body attacks its own thyroid gland, they had me have an ultrasound when they discovered this, found nodules, had a biopsy, had a thyroidectomy....... but that may not be the case for you. I would at least want an ultrasound or scan just to make sure. I hope all works out for you.
