You can definately die.  It is the #1 cause of heart attack and strokes in American women, b/c it goes untreated.  If you have been hyper for very long you will know what the chest pains feel like and how scary they are.  The endos told me I was VERY close to suffering a heart attack.  NOTHING to mess around with!

By HT, I'm assuming you mean you're hyperthyroid?  If left untreated to be blunt you could die!  Thyroid disease if very treatable, but it MUST be treated, preferably by an endocrinologist who specializes in thyroid disease.  I highly recommend you see a doctor!!!

Please get treated. I'm hyperthyroid and if you go the route of antithyroid medication, it doesn't cost that much even without insurance. And it will change your life. Can I ask why you do not or cannot be treated?
