Wondering how you are doing? I believe I have a problem processing t4 and maybe t3. When I take t4, I get shakes in my head, neck and chest. I am told they cannot desensitize because it's not a true allergy and it may be more like an intolerance to which there is nothing they can do to help.
Thanks, I think it is too. They have suggested that I take anxiety medication but I told them that I don't have "anxiety" issues other than my thyroid. The trembling started when my first read on my thyroid level was hypo and not hyper, so I'm convinced it's tied to that. They keep ordering tests like CT scans, blood tests, urine tetsts, etc. and all check out fine, so that alone should tell them.
It could take you thyroid a long period of time to stabilize after the RAI and adjusting to the medication. I had not suffered the trembles to much after my RAI - but my heart palps lingered for years after.
Testing every six weeks and checking all your hormone levels will be very important for you in this year of treatment.
I disagree with your doctors thought. I think it is still your thyroid that is causing this.
