Thyroid Biopsy and wait time

Hello, everyone hope all is well.
I just had my first thyroid biopsy on Thursday July 26th and the doctor during the procedure said the nodule had a wierd growth inside it . The assistant stated it would take 10 days for the results does that include weekends or only week days ?  I'm a wee bit concerned about this all seeing how the nodule has grown from 6mm in april to 11mm as of July 16th. Thank you all for the help it is always appreciated.

Hello... That's probably 10 business days, since I'm not sure how much actually gets done over the weekend.  Sometimes they tell you it takes longer than it might so you won't be disappointed if it "does" take that long...

I know it seems easy for me to say, but try not to worry... less than 5% of thyroid nodules turn out to be cancer.

Hi , Thank you for the response .
I know that less than 5% are cancerous , my mother have thyroid cancer when I was like 18 and again about 3 years ago ,I'm 32 and the growth of it is very concerning to me from 6mm to 1.1cm in 3 months time is scary ,plus all these fancy words they throw in heterogeneous . I guess all I can do is stay focused on my 6 kids and not stress on it.
