Iodine

I was thinking of adding iodine to my regimine of armour thyroid but have heard that it can cause bad side effects. If you have taken iodine, would you please tell me of your experience, side effects, symptoms, how long before benefits or side effects manifested, etc. Good and bad.

or if you have not tried it, please list that as well. thanks for your help.

Stella, I saw some iodine the other day, but it is liquid kelp. Do you know if that is the same thing, or has the same benefits?

it's been very good for me -  this is a very individual decision and many don't do well. I was looking for optimal levels with my thyroid meds and I had success with it.

Stella is taking Iodine with her thyroid meds with success.....but her thyroid was killed off. YOu might want to send her a message and ask her about it.
