Is it normal 6 days after thyroid surgery to still feel exhausted?

Hi Everyone~

I had a PT done on 11/4.  I am still feeling very wiped out.  Just very tired.  Is this normal or does it mean my other side of my thyroid is not working?  before the surgery, I had tons of energy.

Thanks!

Yes.  Completely normal.  You just had major surgery.  Give it a minute :)

It's definitley normal to still feel tired.
You did have major surgery. . .it takes a while for your body to adjust and heal.
Jot down all of what you're feeling, so you'll remember when you go for your follow-up with the doctor, but the most important thing is to rest and be good to yourself.
