I hate plastic anything! I always use glass, or crockery.  Many plastic drink bottles in the car with a bit of heat on them, release their chemicals into the drink. Many breast cancer patients have been found to have those chemicals in the breast.
I won't even use plastic wrap on my leftovers. They go into a dish or bowl with a tight lid.
I am not convinced that convenience is always such a good thing.
