helenschild4... was there a reference range for the Thyroglobulin? If so, what was it? Reference ranges are, typically, located next to the result, in parenthesis.
While thyroglobulin is used as tumor marker to determine if cancer has returned or to determine how treatment has worked, it does not necessarily mean that you have cancer, simply because you may have elevated thyroglobulin levels now.
A biopsy is the only way cancer can be diagnosed... have you had an ultrasound to determine if you have nodules? Have you had a biopsy? Less than 5% of all thyroid nodules turn out to be cancer.
Please post the rest of your labs when you get them, particularly, Free T3, Free T4 and any antibody tests.
