Low energy

I am on Sythroid, my dose was lowered last spring because blood work came back to low. I am now on 25 mg. I have no energy even though blood work is coming back ok. I am only 46 and I feel like I am 80. When I was on higher dose of synthroid I had energy and felt better.  I went back to Drs and complained about low energy and I was basically told go back to my regular DR, fatigue could be the result of many things. I had a complete blood work done less than a year ago and everything was fine at regular DRS.. This is what led me to thyroid condition.
Thank you
CJ

Yes. Get the copies so you can see for yourself.

The Target TSH level for a person on thyroid hormone is 0.5-2.0. Generally closer to 1 is best.

What was your TSH when the doctor said it was too low?

Make sure to get copies of your lab results.

Many doctors aren't comfortable allowing the TSH to get to the bottom of the range, even though most people feel best between 0.5 and 2.
