hoarseness after iodine treatment

RA1
I got home on the 23rd this month from iodine treatment. On that day I had hoarseness and my voice changed. Has anyone had problem like that? If so, how long does it take and do I need to take anything from that? I try to post this question on the Dr. forums, but it was full.

Yes. Following iodine contrast dye for a scan, I had annoying hoarseness and discomfort in the throat that lasted three hours. I experienced the same issue when I tried Ozempic for diabetes. I never took it again.

What about feet swollen and hurting? I think that cause from lack of water or something they called.

Also, has anyone gained weight and feel tired and sleepy?

Hi,
I had RAI 8 days ago,  when mine gets dry and hoarse I'm still doing the lemon/watermelon candies, just not as often.
It's usually worse in the evenings when I'm really tired.

Hi.  Yeah, I had that problem for quite a while and quite severely.  I had very large dose of RAI.  I don't remember how long it lasted other than when the swelling in my thyroid went down the hoarseness went away.  Really irritating I know, but I bet it makes your voice sound kinda sexy! ;) Raaaarrrrrrrr!!!!!
