My first day in

I was so glad to see so many people with similar problems.  I often feel alone, in this area of health issues (born w/out a thyroid), as almost everyone I know were born with one (however inactive) or one that was over-active and had to get medical treatment for the problem.
I am not saying I'm glad to see people with problems, just people who have been there and done that. Or does that sound rude?
