Is this something serious that I need to worry about? My blood test for TSH and T3, T4 were all in the normal limits. In 6 months, if I were to get the ultrasound done again and the nodules are getting bigger, can it indicate that it may be cancerous?
If nodules are getting 2 times bigger and their features are changing, the biopsy will be a next step. I am not a big fan of using word cancer unless there is clear evidence of it!
Were you recommended for FNA? I'm going through something similar and have an FNA scheduled on Tuesday.
