Did your dr test your cortisol levels prior to putting you on the Armour?
Although my first choice of thyroid med is Armour, it's funny stuff. If you have adrenal fatigue or low ferritin, it's not going to work as well for you and might even cause some side effects. Lucky me, I had both problems going on, which explains why I had the severe fatigue and unintentional (although welcome) weight loss while on it.
Something else to consider - not everyone can take Armour because of the set ratio of T4 to T3 thats in it. If your conversion is fine, then a T4-only med might work better for you.
Sorry, I can't help you about the Armour. Have never taken it!
