hashimotos question

I have hashimotos with symptoms on and off what I am wondering is why?  I am not hypothyroid my TSH is 2.44 T4 and T3 were in reference range.  Antibodies 1000 (i think). I have a nodule, borderline goiter. I also have blepharitis so I am not sure if some of my eyelashes are coming out because of that or hashimotos.  The Dr. doesn't think it's because of hashimotos.  I would appreciate help.

Thank you

Blepharitis is a chronic bacterial  infection, I have Hashimoto and also Blepharitis, and I was told it is just a coincidence.

If your TPOab count is in the range of 1,000, your levels are going to shift often.

Your TSH seems  little high to me, although each person is different. Most people feel better when their TSH is closer to 1.0 or 1.5.

If your TSH is off a full point, you can develop symptoms. That may be what is going on.

Lowering your TSH will slow down the goiter growth (in theory). Avoiding goitrogens would also help. Do a Google search on goitrogens and you will find that avoiding certain raw vegetables and soy products will also slow the development of a goiter or nodules.

Doing both of those things can actually shrink nodules in some cases.
