Endo HELP
thyroidectomy jan 07, i-131 after- exact labs not in front of me right now, but getting runaround from endo doc- feel anxious all the time, trouble sleeping, etc. he wants me to believe it's all psychological, but i've read up on this too much to believe him- he reduced my synthroid from .137 to .125...........an hour after saying he was "happy" with what my labs are. well, i am glad SOMEONE is "happy"............feeling really FRUSTRATED!
GravesLady- thanks. taking celexa, but dosing down.........second dose orf .125 synthroid today.......we shall see, i guess.
What I did for a while was take antidepressants, sleeping aid (Over the counter is enough for some, for me they did nothing so doctor prescribed one), etc. Sometimes we just have to do more for ourselves then just relying on thyroid meds. and levels. And they don't have to be forever, but just until we get over the rough times of thyroid. Thyroid does come with a lot of mental issues. Thyroid effects all parts of our body, including the mind.
