I've been taking 0.075MG pills of Levothyroxine for 6 years now, and recently I've ran out of my prescription. I can't just go get some blood work done to see if I still need them or not because of my lack of an updated health card. I have no photo ID in order to get it. I still have my old card but it's no good without my photo. I should have just gotten this problem figured out when I turned 16 but I didn't and now it's becoming a pain to deal with.
I ran out of my last pick-up 5 days ago, and I've gone a few days in a row without taking one before this and felt fine up until like the third day. I'm starting to feel just sluggish and tired at school, like I just got out of bed, except lasting all day. I sleep until just the last minute before my mother drives me to school, even though I enjoy my morning classes I have zero inspiration to want to get up for anything. These past few days I've slept right when I got back from school until late at night, wake up and eat, go on my computer, then just go back to sleep. My appetite is up and down too, I won't ever eat before my lunch break, and I used to eat breakfast every day when I had the time. The only thing that wakes me up is drinking consistent amounts of coffee but it tweaks me out and makes me feel like garbage so that's obviously not the safest route to feeling normal again. I mean I was far from perfect before but now I just feel like zoned out and not fit to be in school for the time being.
So I guess overall what I'm asking is how should I go about treating this and what can I do aside from popping pills to make myself feel more alert filled with enough energy to go to school and not feel sketchy.
