A month ago, my physician said I had an enlarged thyroid and my antibodies were found to be >3000. He put me on the lowest dose of levothyroxide and planned a follow-up with me in three months. Two days ago, I woke up in the middle of the night, unbelievably itchy. I thought it was maybe because I was allergic to something and then it disappeared. But now, two nights back-to-back, I keep waking up because it's either too hot (even though my partner says it's cold) and having to itch all over. Is this because my dose is too low? I was never like this before I got on the medication. I'm usually fine during the day, but for some reason in the evening into the night, it happens.
