Right Lobe: Measures 6.0 x 3.8 x 3.1 cm. There is normal grayscale and color Doppler appearance. There are multiple nodules again seen. the largest is in the mid gland measuring 3.7 x 2.9 x 3.3. This is a solid and near isoechoic with no echogenic foci. This previously measured as 3.5 x 2.5 x 3.2. There are 3 other smaller nodules 2 of which have coarse calcifications. The technologist measured the more superior nodule ice 2.6 x 1.7 x 2.5 cm compared with prior study 1.0 x 1.0 x 2.1 cm. A mid lateral nodule was measured as 2.0 x 2.0 x 2.1 cm compared to prior exam 0.8 x 0.8 x 2.0 xm.
Left Lobe: The left lobe measures 4.1 x 1.8 x 1.4 cm. There is normal grayscale and color Doppler appearance. there are 3 nodules. These measure less than 1 cm. On the last exam only 2 nodules were measured. The sizes are unchanged.
Isthmus: measure 0.3 cm.
Impression: There are multiple bilateral thyroid nodules. The largest is a solid near isoechoic nodule on the right. This nodule again mildly increased in size. 2 smaller nodules on the right were also measured larger on this exam. If not previously performed, ultrasound-guided FNA of the larger nodule is recommended
