I hate Synthroid!!!

I hate synthroid!!  Everytime I up my dose by the smallest amount (I've been taking 75mcg for 11 days now) I start having all these burning sensations in my upper body, chest pains, jaw pain, extreme anxiety (even though I'm on anti-anxiety meds) I feel like I'm losing my mind and having a heart attack all at the same time.  I know it isn't my heart because I had a chemical stress test with an echo and ekg in late August before my TT and the cardiologist said that my heart looked great.  Does anyone on this board have any symptoms like this?  I thought I had a bloodwork appointment for today but it's not until next Monday and I don't see my endo until the 29th.  Thanks for letting me rant!

So you still have your thyroid? I find that people who no longer have theirs tend to do badly on just a T4 medication.

As long as the dosage is not "too much" then once you matabolize the dosage "usually about 4 - 6 weeks" then the symptoms should go away.. I get the exact same symptoms as you do..
