Need help with results please

Hi, these are my results:
TSH - 1.57 mU/L (0.35 - 4.94)
T4 - 12 pmol/L (9.00 - 20.00)
T3 - 3.7 pmol/L (2.4 - 5.7)

Suffering with obsessive thoughts/ruminations/anxiety - could my thyroid have something to do with this.   Have had stress in my life but I literally have not much control over the thoughts, all about one subject.   Doctor says its all normal.

In the words of an excellent thyroid doctor, "The free T3 is not as helpful in untreated persons as the free T4 because in the light of a rather low FT4 the body will convert more T4 to T3 to maintain thyroid effect as well as is possible. So the person with a rather low FT4 and high-in-range FT3 may still be hypothyroid. However, if the FT4 is below 1.3 (mid-range) and the FT3 is also rather low, say below 3.4 (range 2 to 4.4 at LabCorp) then its likely that hypothyroidism is the cause of a person's symptoms."

Of course the measurement units are different, but your FT4 is only about 27% of its range, and your FT3 is only about 35% of its range, and there are numerous other factors as well.  So your symptoms could possibly be associated with hypothyroidism.  Do you have any other symptoms?
