TED

I am currently taking armour for a thyroid condition.  I am wondering about long terms effects.  In your article you mentioned development of TED...what is this?

As long as the Armour is being given to you that meets your Dx and frees you up on your symptoms - then you should be fine.

TED is short for Thryoid Eye Disease.  It's most common in hyper-thryoid/Graves patients but can occasionally be dx'd in hypo-thyroid patients as well.  This is a condition where thyroid antibodies attact the lining of the eyes and they in turn bulge or appear to bulge from the sockets.
