Another Doctor

Hi Everyone. Well went to another doctor today about my thyroid. Gave him the results of the ultrasounds. Another rejection of information. Said I have a distortion on my right side of my neck. Felt something on left side where the nodules are Told him what 4 doctors said His exact words Well you should find another doctor. I asked him about the calcification on the solid nodules being hetergenous and what the radiologists impression of possible malignancy. He said to me the calcificaiton means that its not cancer. What Yeah sure I told him how do I know those nodules donot contain cancer cells? Told him I have read alot about this He looked at me to say I'm the doctor Well anyway just venting and starting to get very depressed about this whole situation because I haven't been feeling good at all since this whole thing started. My next step is a women doctor May she will have some compasion. Thanks

I went though four docs and found my last one off this list.

I have noticed a lot of dr's do not like the internet.  Some of them do not like people becoming informed...It's like we're threatening their jobs or something, when all we want is for them to Do their jobs.

I hope the woman dr thing works out for you.  I went to one when my regular dr wasn't listenening and she was a rip.  and that was being nice.  She was one that did not appreciate me asking questions or reading up.... I got a "OH Honey, don't do that...just let me do my job"  Well she didn't figure it out so I went to one of her co-workers...male and he figured it out and he listened...But he was my third dr.  I think I have decent drs now, but they are all very synthroid leaning.
