The Dr upped my Levothyroxin about 4 months ago.
I agree to also check B-12, D3, Ferritin and Iron.
Low in any or all of those will result in fatigue symptoms.
I also agree to split the dose of the T3 medication. 25 mcg from never having T3 prior is about the largest "starting" dose of T3. Some people have no problem with that. Others may have some trouble adjusting to it. If you sense or have a hsitory of being sensitive to medications, then you may want to start with half a pill (12.5 mcg) of the T3 a day for a weeks or so, and then transition into taking half the pill twice a day. it is up to you.
I think the Dr is directionally going in the proper direction.
Please provide the reference ranges for the Free T3, Free T4 and Reverse T3. Reference ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report, so we can compare your results with the ranges from your report.
How long had you been on the 100 mcg of levothyroxine?
Are you splitting the liothyronine into 2 doses/day or taking it all in one dose, once/day?
Have you had vitamin B12, vitamin D and ferritin tested? If so, please post those results for us.
