I was diagnosed as having Hypothyroidism 5 months ago. My TSH was >50 while the normal range was 0.4-5.0.
FT3 was 0.4 but the normal range was 1.4-4.2. Similarly FT4 was well below normal: it was 0.04 while the normal was 0.8-2.0...........I was prescribed Thyroxine 200 microgram per day. After 6 weeks of this therapy with this dose I got my blood tested again from the same lab with the same normal reference ranges. TSH was 0.19. FT3 was 2.54 and FT4 was 2.05................Doctor told me to come to 900 micro gram per week from previous 1400 micro gram per week................after 6 weeks TSH came to 2.14......................I went higher to 1050 microgram per week of thyroxin and now got the following results:
TSH 0.02 (Normal range from this lab is 0.27-4.2)
FT3 3.8 ( normal range is 2.0-4.4)
FT4 2.0 (Normal range is 0.93-1.7)
It means my TSH is VERY LOW, FT3 is NORMAL and FT4 is A BIT higher.
Total T3 is 120 ( normal is 80-200)
Total T4 is 9.9 ( normal is 4.5-11.7)
I am taking 150 microgram thyroxin daily. How low should I come now as I don't want to go to doctor, to avoid spending money
Does the attached report also have something to do with my case?
