I don't get it!

I am a 43 year old female.  I have started having hot flashes, weight gain, insomnia and also having a really difficult time with being cold.  I went to my Ob/Gyn a couple of weeks ago and she felt I was in the beginning stages of premenopause but she also felt nodules on my thyroid.  After blood work, my FSH and all other hormones were within normal ranges as were my thyroid results: Tsh 1.890 T4 1.57
Are there natural supplements I can take since my doctor doesn't seem to feel I have a thyroid issue.  Were there other tests I should have had done?

Hi there.  Yes I decided to fast the night before and  had an empty stomach for almost 15 hours when the blood work was done.  Thanks for your response.

First thing I would consider is did you have the blood work in the AM on an empty stomach? It will alter the results unless you have had nothing by mouth past midnight, and try to get it done in the AM.

Let me know...Ok
