Thyroid Test Results back today

Hi there, 21/m here.
I have battled with sluggishness, poor memory/concentration, weight gain, dark circles under my eyes, depression, dry strawlike hair, and low basal temperature (average of 96.8 over 5 days) most of my life. I also have Multiple Sclerosis and currently do not take treatment. I personally requested my tests from my doctor who is a very conservative old fashioned guy..I eat all organic food and exercise consistently and I like to think that I take care of myself well beyond the average. Here are my results:

Free T4 - 1.07ng/dL
Total T3 - 1.06ng/mL
TSH - 1.56 UIU/m
Thyroxine - 6.2ug/dL
Thyroxine Peroxidase - <10 IU/mL
Antithyroglobulin Ab - <20 IU/mL

If anyone could provide some insight into these results it would be greatly appreciated. My interpretation of them compared to the acceptable ranges are not that discernable and it worries me because my doctor is a cut and dry stubborn soul... will most likely refute my request for Armour.

Thanks for your time,
Christopher

Could you please post the normal ranges from your lab along with the results.  Some of the very smart people on her are very good at enterpreting these (not me) and they will need this info also.

Christopher,

You're thyroid labs seem to be on target, so I'm sure they will refute your request for Armour.  What led you on to Armour anyways, especially if you weren't clear about the interpretation of your results?  I am not a doctor, but I would think that your MS is playing the bigger part of all of your symptoms.  Why are you not seeking treatment for that?
