Thyroid antibodies

I recently had ANA tests done for Lupus.. those all came back neg.. except my thyroid perioxidase autoimmune antibodies which were 206 with a normal referance range of <60 have got an appt with my rheumy .. does this mean i have a thyroid problem????

I have read of way higher.

There are other health conditions that carry peroxidase antibodies.  Therefore, thyroid test is the prevailing demoninater and antibodies just confirm.

ok.. then i wonder why these are so high... interesting.. at any rate i have an appt with the rheumy to get to the bottom of this

No, not without thyroid panel showing that there is a thyroid problem.
