Thyroid nodule

Size: 3.7 x 3.1 x 2.4 cm. Volume: 14.5 mL
- Location: Right mid lobe
- Composition: solid or almost completely solid (2)
- Echogenicity: isoechoic (1)
- Shape: wider-than-tall (0)
- Margins: smooth (0)
- Echogenic foci: punctate echogenic foci (3) large comet-tail artifacts
(0)
RADS total points: 6
- ACR TI-RADS risk category: TR4
- Change in ACR TI-RADS risk category: N/A

Lymph nodes: Multiple prominent lymph nodes seen bilaterally. For example,
a 1.7 x 1.1 x 0.6 cm node without a definite echogenic hilum at level IV in
the left neck and a 2.2 x 1.4 x 0.7 cm node with an echogenic hilum at
level III in the right neck.

Large comet artifacts suggest benignity. Is it still possible that nodule might be malignant?

Husband has CLL. Enlarged nodes in neck due to the CLL, versus thyroid issue?
