Have them check your thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin.  Also called TSI.  That could be the reason for hyperthyroid; it is called Graves Disease.  If the TSI is negative, they will need to do a radioactive thyroid scan to check for abnormalities on the thyroid.

Hello,
You will go through these extreme mood and tired swings until it's under control.  See your doctor regularly until you neutralize.  He may have give you some options.  Research each and move forward.  Unfortunately there is no quick fix.

Sorry to read, you feel this way.  Hyperthyroid can certainly make an individual tired/weak, the body is alway's on the go, rarely slows down.

What course of treatment have been administered ?  Balancing hormone levels can take up to several weeks.  Do your best to eat healthy, stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, and most of all stay away from sugar/caffeine, till your next lab appt.  Wishing you well.

I should also have asked if your doctor tested FT4.

What's the reference range on your FT3?  Ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report.

Has your doctor recommended meds?
