Ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday

Dr. Lupo:

This forum has been extremely helpful so far.  I have several questions.  During a carotid us, there was an incidental finding of a 7mm nodule on the rt lobe of my thyroid. I have had excruiciating earaches, eye twinges and facial numbness since June. I have been superdizzy and extremely tired....kind of like the so tired when you are pregnant (except that I am not)?  Also, can you request a particular radiologist to read your ultrasound results so that you start off with experienced medical professionals from the beginning.  I am 37, have three young daughters and I really can't afford to have any misinformation for myself or for them.

Thank you for your time....

Hey...

Thanks....yea...I realized I posted to the wrong forum...but also to the right one as well!  I don't have an endocrinologist.  This started as headaches..so I have been dealing with a neurologist since June.  Should I be finding one or get a referral?

I really am not myself....want to get this taken care of so I can move on..these symptoms are scary and cause me some anxiety because they make me second guess myself.

Thanks for answering...hope you had a good Thanksgiving...

If you bring a copy of your studies to an endocrinologist you can get a 2nd opinion that way, too ... actually I ended up with 3 cause my ENT, Endo and family dr all had access to the films online!

This is the patient community but we're glad to help ..
