Very erratic moods!!

So in the past few weeks I have become an emotional roller coaster from anger depression fatigue to strangely goofy happy all in one day some times, headaches have become more frequent, accompanied with complete lack of consentration so my question is is this the new normal for me? or will this change with medication?

I am hyper, and will have the RAI tomorrow, but I've been the same way for 2 1/2 years. I've had it all, including some moods that haven't even been discovered yet. I know I can't help you, but I like the "strangely goofy happy" thing. Such a great way to describe it. But be careful if you get sent to certain docs or therapists... they will diagnose you as bipolar or obsessive/compulsive disorder.

It's that slap-happy feeling...where you sometimes can't stop talking and you move quicker than usual. Sometimes I catch myself singing or talking to myself and laughing about it. Of course co-workers and bosses see this. And...without warning....CRASH! I might blow up at any time... or get very, very sad and miserable to where I can barely function and do my job. Some times I hide so I can cry, or I might have a severe anxiety attack. Sometimes I get bitter for no reason...

Many experience this and it should be simply chalked up to a clinical/chemical unbalance within the hormones.

Most doctors as Ed states will pronouce you Bi Polar or ?? and put you on meds to mask the condition.

Maybe getting a second opinion on your thyroid levels with someone who believes all these emotional reactions are connected with not being in balance with your hormones would be a good way to go first - before going on the route to a mental DX on your emotional state of mind.
