What Can I expect for my multinodular goiter

I have had an ultrasound of my thyroid.  My thyroid echotexture is diffusely heterogeneous.  Four discrete nodules were identified, two in the right lobe and two in the feft.
Right : mid pole 2.1 cm in width by 1.5 vm in dept, complex, lobular but circumscribed, diffusely vasular with evidence of calcification.
Lower pole, solid, circumscribed, iso to hyoechoic, peripherally vasular, noncalicified, peripheral hypoechoic halo 1.4 yo 1.0 cm.
Left.. upper pole, .9 to .8 cm. solid, mildly isoechoic, circumscribed fiffusely vasular, with evidence of coarse calcifications.
Upper to mid pole, .7 to .6cm solid hypoechoic, circumscribed, noncalificed peripherally vasuclar.
From what I've read this doesn't look too good.
Will they biopsy all the nodules, and what are my chances?

"Right : mid pole 2.1 cm in width by 1.5 vm in dept, complex, lobular but circumscribed, diffusely vasular with evidence of calcification" --- higher suspicion; biopsy needed under ultrasound due to close proximity to the voice nerve
"Lower pole, solid, circumscribed, iso to hypoechoic, peripherally vasular, noncalicified, peripheral hypoechoic halo 1.4 yo 1.0 cm.---  most likely benign, as no blood vessels are found inside"
"Left.. upper pole, .9 to .8 cm. solid, mildly isoechoic, circumscribed diffusely vasular, with evidence of coarse calcifications".--- may also be biopsied but coarse calcification is not often found with cancer
"Upper to mid pole, .7 to .6cm solid hypoechoic, circumscribed, noncalificed peripherally vasuclar".-- no blood flow inside most likely benign

Yes, Biopsy is necessary. It's ofter difficult to biopsy all, but the biggest one is mainly the one that they go for. Once you have the biopsy, that shall determine the cells within the nodule and then they will take it from there.

I had many nodules and had to have a TT due to the abnormal cells within them but they were benign. Either way, you will be fine. Hang in there.

Yes, they should do a biopsy, any nodule over 1 cm that is solid or cystic should be tested, although they probably will only do the biggest.  The calcifications are worrisome, as is the vascularity.  Your chances of having cancer go up with those, I believe you are now in the 20%-25% range...one in four or five, but that was enough for me...you definitely should have the FNA, there is a pretty good chance that they can give you a diagnosis if they get the right cells.  Your nodules are all just about the same size as mine were, I did have cancer.  I did not get a diagnosis on my biopsy, so I hope you get one from yours.  My biopsy results were "benign follicular clusters", I still had cancer. Thyroid cancer is curable, that is the good news.  They simply remove your thyroid and radiate any leftover thyroid tissue...most often that does it, sometimes there are recurrances.  I am one year post-op, I have a medical test coming up to check for recurrance, but all looks good for now.  Good luck...
