1. Diffusely abnormal tracer activity throughout the thyroid, with suggestion of a discrete area of decreased activity in the interpolar portion of the right thyroid lobe, and a focus of increased activity in the interpolar portion of the left thyroid
lobe. These abnormalities approximately correspond to the locations of dominant nodules identified on recent ultrasound. As on the ultrasound, the overall appearance suggests multinodular goiter.
