What exactly makes the body feel anxious/anxiety when hyper? Anybody have any ideas or know? Just curious ....

After reading so many posts on the board about anxiety I often wondered why higher dosing of Synthorid and/or hyperthyroid cause anxiety ?

My doctor told me that excess adreneline is what causes the anxiety. Since my body can no longer metabolize correctly, my heart races, my eyes get blurry and it feels similiar to a mini diabetic attack. My blood sugars drop and I become hyperglycemic.

Don't know, either, but wish I did.  Right now I know I'm hypo, but am having it just the same.  Horrible paranoia and anxiety again.  Actually, seems more like a hyper symptoms, but I'm know I'm not hyper.  Can't be.  Nauseated, migraines, night sweats, anxiety, paranoia, muscle cramps(like you wouldn't believe), low bp....well, some of them seem to be hyper symptoms and some hypo, huh?  Don't know what to make of that.  Need my endo!!!!  boohooboohoo  Can't see her until they get my insurance straightened out.  I may lose it before then.

Wish I knew.  That way all of us would not have to suffer with this stuff.  Wonder if Dr. Lupo would have any insight on this?

I know the anxiety you are talking about too. Could it be all the extra hormones?
