I have just had an ultrasound of my thyroid that was notified because of a goiter. My bloods have come back as normal but the ultrasound said the following.solid nodule on the isthmus, minor hyperaemia. Right lobe normal size but two noduels, dominant one 23x15x17 mm, solid, internal vascularity and calcifications, minor hyperaemia. Left lobe enlarged with multiple nodules largest in upper pole isoechoic, solid with internal vascularity and calcificatinos and hyperaemia.
Anyone tell me if this sounds bad or if I shouldn't worry. Charissa
