Thyroid lab numbers question

Ok I have a free t4 of 1.2 with a range of .8-1.8

I have a free t3 of 2.9 with a range of 2.3 - 4.2

Tsh is 4.1

I realize 4.1 is kind of high but my tush has been so wildly up and down I am tired of adjusting.

At .25 tsh I had extreme anxiety and hit a curb driving angry.

Anyways am I hypo or not in your opinions?

Yes, you should supplement with D3 to get your level to 55-60.  If not tested for B12 and ferritin I highly recommend that you do so.  B12 should be in the upper end of its range, and ferritin about 70 minimum.  For hypo patients it is important to get to optimal levels for all three.

My vitamin d was 26 range is 30-100.

I will start taking d.

I don't feel too bad but I cannot change again.

I was 17 tsh at 88 mg

went up to 125 and tsh was at .25.

now i am at 4.1 tsh with a 88 dosage.

so 4.1 will have to do I guess.

sorry for lack of capitals i am using an apple product.

The most important question to be answered is what symptoms, if any, do you have?  Treatment really should be about symptoms first, and Free T4 and free T3 levels second.

Without any info on symptoms, let me just give you a quote from a very good thyroid doctor.

"The free T3 is not as helpful in untreated persons as the free T4 because in the light of a rather low FT4 the body will convert more T4 to T3 to maintain thyroid effect as well as is possible. So the person with a rather low FT4 and high-in-range FT3 may still be hypothyroid. However, if the FT4 is below 1.3 and the FT3 is also rather low, say below 3.4 (range 2 to 4.4 at LabCorp) then its likely that hypothyroidism is the cause of a person's symptoms."

By those criteria, it appears that you could be hypothyroid, but further treatment should depend on how you feel at those levels.   Also, how are your Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin levels?
