Okay, if you could give us more information, we might be able to help you.

Are you currently, on thyroid medication?  If so, which one, at what dosage?

Do you have a copy of your current thyroid labs?  If so, please post them, here and be sure to include reference ranges, which vary from lab to lab, and must come from your own report.

Knowing what your actual levels are, will help us better assess your testing/treatment and come up with possible suggestions for you.

This is a thyroid forum.  Have you been diagnosed with a thyroid disease?  Or do you suspect one?  Have you been tested for thyroid function?  On thyroid medication?

There are many things that can cause itching hands, including the of latex gloves, since you work in a food service industry.

Don’t know if what your describing is thyroid related or not…but I can tell you that I use to work in a pizza shop back in college (a while ago lol) but I use to break out on my hands and face and found out it was from the yeast in the dough. Too much of it gets into the pores on your hands and skin and can cause an overgrowth. Make sure to wash your hand often! And you can use the old cooks trick and wash your hands in lemon juice…takes out garlic and onion smells too!

If you do have thyroid issues, you could possibly have another autoimmune response to the yeast or other allergies working with foods…  I know my hands are very dry as a result of me being hypo!
