hashi's and forehead tingling

Has anyone ever had a tingling sensation on forhead?  almost like a sunburn?  i'm in the process of trying to get my TSH back to "normal" through changing dosages of medications, and over the last week have had daily sensation of tingling/sunburn on my forhead.  sometimes spreads to my cheeks and face.....does this sound familiar to anyone??

I have been on 50mcg for about 3 years, and my TSH climbed to over 6-my dr. has me alternating 50mcg and 75mcg each day.  Have an appt. this week to talk to dr. about it.  This disease is sooo frustrating!!!

I have hashi and have had tingling feet since my dx in April '07. TSH just came down to 1 in Sept. and I still have tingling. MDs can't find any other cause. I've taken all kinds of labs, scans, etc. A few others here have posted tingling as a symptom. I don't know if the change in dosage can cause tingling. Are you sure you aren't being over medicated? Did MD tell you your tsh number? Usually the dosage increases are small like from 50mcg to 75mcg. You cut you pills to slowly adjust to the increase. I used to do that so I'd increase my dose by 12.5 mcg rather than immediatley increase by  25mcg. Also, did you switch brands of synthroid? I couldn't take the generic!! I had to take the brand, the generic gave me flushing skin, nausea and headache!

Sounds like you are on too much. Flushing is a sign of too much and rosasea (soundslike what you have) would be an extreme form of that.
I used to break out with blisterlike hives on my forhead when my dose was too much.
