Hi thanks for sharing your info and comforting words. What do you mean by nodules ? she did have an ultra sound yesterday and the doc said straight away that its Hashi....
The family is being tested as we speak, especially my other 2 gils who are almost 2 and almost 5.
regards
Max
I think TSH for children is different, so I'm not sure. Are you sure this is TSH and not anti-TPO? Please post all of her numbers.
TSH
FT3
FT4
TGab
Anti-TPO
50 mcg of what? Levo? Synthroid?
You might also request a thyroid ultrasound to see if she has nodules. We Hashis get these nodules all the time. If so, then they need to be monitored at least every six months.
I'm so sorry that you have to be going through this. I have a six-year-old, and I monitor her closely because Hashi can be hereditary.
Have you checked your thyroid levels? Have you alerted other family members?
:) Tamra
