Doctor suggests thyroid removal

Originally I went to the doctor for a sore back and feeling a bit cold
They did blood work and said I was hypothyroid
I've now been diagnosed with hashimotos and have no goiter or nodules
Symptoms bounce from hyper (tremors, anxiety insomnia) to hypo (cold, fatigued, back pain)
Originally diagnosed hypothyroidism- first lab TSH 24 ft4 1.1 (range .82 - 1.77)
When on levythyroxine .25 mcg 1 week then .75 mcg  3 weeks TSH 10 ft4 1.7 I got very hyper symptoms went to ER
Stopped meds and months later latest lab TSH 9 ft4 1.07 ft3 3.7 (range 2.0-4.4)
New endo put me on 12.5 mcg and 9 days later I'm feeling hyper symptoms again
She says I have a "leaky thyroid" and suggests I have it totally removed
Seems the levythyroxine doesn't agree with me
Is it a good idea to have it taken out? My first endo kinda gave up on me due to my symptoms

I've had both types of Hashitoxicosis and my "leakage" symptoms of active Hashimoto's was mild in comparison to the hyperthyroid symptoms from Graves antibodies. Block and replace therapy is recommended for non resolving Hashitoxicosis.

That sounds like hell.  How long has this been going on?  What other meds are you on?  Have you been/are you now exposed to chemicals from working on farms, radioactivity, ect?

I shouldn't try  armour or cytomel because it will make my ft3 even higher and get even higher hyper symptoms
