l-tyrosine

i was taking l-tyrosine caplets for awhile too see if it would help regulate hypothyroidism.i havent been diagnosed with it,but it runs in my family and i feel like i might have it.i would take it 3 times a day starting at 500 mg,all the way to 7 grams which is supposed too be the maximum.after i upped the dosage every week i could tell a difference in how much better i felt.it only lasted a couple days until i reupped it too the next higher dose.i was just wondering if anyone with hypothyroidsm has tried this and had lasting effects?

It is an amino acid which is important for thyroid fuction but not a hormone - itself_ producer.

What it is really good for with symptoms is the brain power - like energy to the brain for some clear thinking.

The body will not balance out if you are lacking elsewhere with thyroid levels and take that alone to see if it reverses the hypo.

What are your symptoms?
