That test was for Total T3. You want to be tested for Free T3. I expect Free T3 will be low in the range as well. I hope your new Endo is a good thyroid doctor.
I stopped taking the Krill immediately last May. Im seeing a new Endo next week... In past tests my T3 was in low range of normal. 64 range being 58--159.
Taking in iodine can sometimes upset your levels. Are you still taking the Krill oil?
You really do need to know the level of your Free T3 hormone. Note this is not the same as Total T3. If possible to get it done, I would highly suggest it, as a way to find out where you are currently. FT3 is the most important Thyroid hormone test. FT3 largely regulates metabolism and many other body functions. Studies have shown that FT3 correlated best with hypo symptoms, while FT4 and TSH correlated very poorly.
Not sure what you doctor means about Armour being so unstable. Yes, it does vary from when you take the dose until your next dose, but the option of taking T4 meds frequently does not result in adequate T3 if your body is not converting T4 to T3 adequately.
thanks.
as of July 9th

Please post your latest thyroid test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report. Also, what dosage of Armour are you taking. Are you taking it in one dose or two?
