likely hood of cancer?

my ultrasound reads as follows: right lobe measures 3.3x1x8x1.1.cm left lobe 3.2x1.8x0.6 Isthamas normal.
On the interior? pole of the right lobe, there is an exophytic 6m rounded hyperechoic nodule.  In the lower pole of the left lobe there is a dominant 1.4x0.9x1.5 cm rounded hyperechoic nodule or mass with an adjancent 6m similar appearing satellite nodule.  My question is do these findings lean toward cancer?  and what is the next step?
thyroid cancer runs in my family.
thank you so much your help is greatly appreciated and valued..

hyperechoic is a GOOD sign that it's most likely not cancer. Since TC does run in your family, I woud definitely follow up on the mass/nodule!

Did you discuss with your doctor to have more testing done? The larger nodule is big enough to biopsy, but the smaller ones are probably not large enough. There are uptake scans that can be done as well.
