Did they keep a drain tube in you for 24 hours after surgery?

I had thyroidectomy on Sept 10th, I am having swelling and headache goin up from back of neck. I have been back to my surgeon twice and he drained fluid from the swollen area and told me that the position I was in for the surgery can cause the problem in the back of my neck and head.

Do you have anyone with you? If, you do have them call the doctor who did your surgery right away don't waste anytime. I don't know it didn't swell for me and I don't like the hadaches the only thing I got was vertigo! If, you can't get hold of the doctor you may need to goto the emergency. I am not trying to scare you just want to air on the side of reason
