need info plz help

After reflux like symptoms i just realized after 3 years that my body is packed with iodine.

I read a lot and came to the conclusion that 3-4 packs of sardines on avg. a week, lots of iodized salt and other foods are the main cause of the salty taste i have in my mouth as well as extremely salty mocus, dry cough and lately swollen Thyroid gland.

I'm 31, non-smoker, usually a healthy person.

What's the solution? is there a diet i can do? is the Reflux like symptoms and burning salty throat can be a cause of too much iodine in my system?

Thanks!

You have to back off completely on many foods and basically starve your body out of the toxins. This takes about a months or two . Very simple diet to talk about - but hard to follow. Get off all white flour and sugar. If salt is needs or you want it Sea salt is the option for a while. Your water intake should be at least your weight divided in two - that you must drink in ounces of water eacg day Example: if you are 200 pounds = you should be drinking 100 ounces of water daily - 6 weeks. not tap either unless tested well - phosphorus should be low. a mild detox should be practices to rid your PH level. In order to balance your PH - there are strips available at drug/health stores. Check out your Ph within your body (urine testing) .

It is a cheap way to maintain a PH level and you will notice the changes and see the PH changing as it happens.

So sardines for you right now.  Get your PH under control - I am sure this is part of your problem.

There is a report out that pop top cans and I guess that includes sardines have a poison substance on the lids also I don't know if there is a lot of mercury in sardines but I would check out my postings under christy1950 for the full story but in short it contributes to thyriod and other problems.
My girlfriend who had her thyriod removed had a metallic taste in her mouth all the time prior to being diagnosed with thyriod problems. Just something to follow up.

Yes too much salt in your body is not good. Our bodies need a certain amount of salt to maintain proper function of our thyroid, digestive tract and kidneys however when you over load it creates acid which kills off the "good bacteria" our bodies need creating havoc on our insides.

The key to anything is moderation. The best thing you can do at this point is eat fiber or take supplements ( fiber helps our bodies rid of excess water and pollutants) - Drink enough fluids specifically water to help flush the toxins. Add some good probiotics to help rejuvenate the "good" bacteria. There has to be a balance of these for you too operate properly.

If you type in " too much salt " in any search engine you will find a wealth of information on the subject.

Best Wishes~
