Hi! My daughter is 9 and also born without a thyroid gland. I've never noticed bad breath of anykind. She has two older brothers who were born just fine, with a working thyroid gland!

I have never heard of this as a symptom. but who knows....
this should be mentioned to the pediatrician and he should be checked - for thyroid and also diabetes. The dr would know what best to test.
