how dangerous is the pill to the people i live with

A visit to thyca.org would be in order. Has a lot of good information. Had RAI 131 on 9/11/09 150-160 millicuries (Marie Curie I think of xray fame). Tech who just did my body scan said that was a high dose. I have heard upwards of 200 and of course lower doses for Hyperthyroidism. It is enough to put you in complete isolation for 3 days and keeping your distance from pregnant and small children for 7 days. I am still keeping my distance (3 feet)after 14 days from others. Never spending too much time near them. I have yet to really get close for long periods of time to my own children. I just want to be on the safe side. You can look at my posts/journals for more info. Know it can turn out well--I just got the all clear No Cancer!!

Curious about the same thing. having RAI 131 next week 150units(whatever the measure is I don't recall) for thyroid cancer.
